Feisty: Kaffeine crashed from web video

Bug Description

Binary package hint: kaffeine

I don't know where this came from but I was told it was from trying to watch some video on the web. The backtrace isn't really there but this is what I have.

This backtrace appears to be of no use.
This is probably because your packages are built in a way which prevents creation of proper backtraces, or the stack frame was seriously corrupted in the crash.

Thanks for this report. Unfortunately it's useless to fix your problem. If you are not able to reproduce this problem adding further information (please see https://wiki.ubuntu.com/DebuggingProgramCrash), we shall close this report. Feel free to report any other problem in Kubuntu.

The bad stack trace is likely due to Bug 74691... at least that's the problem with mine.

I also have a lot of Kaffeine crashes (using Gutsy)... it doesn't really work. Ever.

You are right, Jon. I hope that bug 74691 could be fixed soon. However, also a detailed description of steps that cause this bug may be useful.

I close this report due to incomplete information. However, bug 74694 should be fixed in beta release, so I recommend to reopen this when you'll have more details. Thanks.

Incomplete information? I can provide more if asked but I wasn't asked for it!

Kaffeine has a new feature which allows it to play DVD ISO files, as created with K9Copy.

I used to be able to File -> Open these, and Kaffeine would mount them and play these files.

It no longer functions. Kaffeine now gives the two previously-[provided error messages.

Additionally, bug 74694 seems to be completely unrelated.

Please ask if I can provide more information.
