Bug Description

Binary package hint: gnome

Gnome hangs when opening gnome-default-applications-properties. Nothing in gnome works after this hanging (i.e. gnome-applets-panel).

To reproduce: Open gnome-default-applications-properties or sometimes gnome-appearance-properties.
