Bug Description

Binary package hint: banshee

Latest banshee FTBFS on all architectures but sparc and powerpc, due to hal not being startable in a chroot. The fatal dependency path is libipod-cil -> libipoddevice0 -> gnome-volume-manager -> hal -> dbus, so this might be considered a bug in either libipod-cil or libipoddevice0 as well.

libipod-cil needs libipoddevice0. and libipoddevice needs gnome-volume-manager to work at all so those are fine and we need to fix hal somehow.
