Bug Description

Binary package hint: sbackup

The sbackup config panel "Time" contains an option to either set the backups at "simple" or "precisely at" time. While the latter is quite obvious because it is explained in the following options which allow one to set the precise time, the former is completely mysterious to me. Nor have I found any doc anywhere that explains it.

Hi,

This "simply" option is meant for anacron . While using precisely you have to set the precise time for the backup, simply just ask you for a frequency (daily, monthly, weekly ) and will make the backup when the computer is found available for this ( some thing that precisely wouldn't do, if your computer is not up at the precise time, then it'll wait till the next scheduled time ).

Then simply was a word I chose myself because I couldn't find another one that would have fit. If you have another one that is better then just propose and it'll be changed .

Thank you

This is good and, having more than some computer expertise, I had
guessed that this was the most probable meaning. But:
- I could not be sure, and not being sure about how your backups are
  made is a dangerous thing
- someone less expert than me could have guessed wrong, or not at all

The word is right, and the functionality is good. But the
documentations is lacking. At the very least, a small comment should be
added under simply, like "do a backup with the given frequency as soon
as possible". Help popups for all the options would be useful. And
none of these is a substitute for real documentation.

Thank you for working on this very nice piece of software. I really
hope that you find the time and energy to improve it further.
