problem with inventory adjustment with production lot

Bug Description
I'm having troubles to understand what I get in the following situation
Steps to reproduce:
Display product USB Adapter, go to inventory page of the notebook.
Click Update Quantity on hand, and in the form, allow qty 10 with a new
production lot 123456 in the Stock location
Validate.
If I display the newly created production lot, I see no picking related
to this lot. If I display stock.quants, there are no quants related to
this lot.
I think this is a bug in inventory management, because the situation is
different if I set a new production lot on an incoming move in a picking:
then the picking is visible in the production lot form view and in the
quants.

Ok, I could reproduce and the reason is because the lot_id is on the move and not in the packing operations of a picking (as you described). So the lot is on this inventory move, but the quant created is without. We will have to make sure the quant is created with the restricted lot when necessary.
