Bug Description

Binary package hint: evolution

Ok,

I noticed that my local folder on .evolution gets unnecessary bigger in time because attachments are still on the "local" folder. I fail into find a way to erase them. I'd like to remove them keeping the body text of the message or be asked if I really want the attachment in the first place and download just what I want to a special folder for attachments or some other place I want. I try to delete, form the main GUI screen not from "local" folder on " .evolution", all messages with attachments on them (the whole message), but local folder is the same size as before, meaning the attachments are still there, must be a way to get rid of that...no?
This in not a good thing, BC that folder can get really big in time. Thunderbird use to have the same issue, but there is a plugin you can install to solve it.
How people manage this problem?, is this not a problem?

S.
