Bug Description
I have experienced the following "bug": When I login on my Ubuntu Feisty Fawn I get the solid camel color desktop background (same of the login screen) and it gets black when I enable Desktop Effects. Some windows just show the decorations and not its content os buttons, just an empty windows with border and top buttons. The system also gets too slow to show the logout/
When I click on System -> Preferences -> Desktop Background the desktopbackground appears as it should , but when I log out (or even reboot the computer) I get the solid camel background or the black background (when Desktop effects is activated).
The computer where all of this happens is a Dell Latitude 100L Notebook. The graphic chipset is Intel 915GM, the processor is Intel Celeron 360M with 512MB RAM.
Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. You reported this bug a while ago and there hasn't been any activity in it recently. We were wondering is this still an issue for you? Can you try with latest Ubuntu release? Thanks in advance.
