Please provide the following information:
1. What brand and model is your mouse.
   How is your mouse connected to your PC: serial, PS/2, USB, wireless USB (Bluetooth), ...
   What mechanism does your mouse use: ball mouse, optical, track ball, ...
2. Attach your /var/log/Xorg.0.log to this bug report.
3. Attach your /var/log/dmesg to this bug report.

Seems to me he already said it is PS/2 mouse in a PS/2 port.
I don't understand, it seems like an apport bug, but is not on hal package, and I see no one having change package association in the bug activity log.
