WPA2 connection fails if nm-applet retrieves password from keyring

Bug Description

I'm using ndiswrapper 0n 7.10, on a wpa2 protected hidden network.
When I first connect to the network, everything works. nm-applet asks to add the password to the keyring. If I click yes, on subsequent tries it always fails to connect. If I do not allow it to store the password in the keyring, and instead each time type again the network name, password etc., it works.
On 7.04 behaviour was the following: If I tried to connect to the network, specifying wpa2, the dialog box asking for the password appeared three times, each time asking to retype the password. The fourth time the dialog box reappeared, it was somehow switched to WPA. If I selected WPA2 again and retyped the password a fourth time, it eventually worked.

I'm using ndiswrapper with a broadcom wireless card (I'm on another computer now, I can't check the precise model, it's the one found on Intel iMacs).

please test if this particular issue still persists in latest gutsy network-manager (>= 0.6.5-0ubuntu15)

With the latest install, nm-applet did not ask to store my password in the keyring. I type the network password each time.

pleaset do:

# gconftool-2 --recursive-unset /system/networking/wireless

to unset whatever was saved in your gconf for your wireless networks.

Maybe it helps?
