Bug Description
I'm using ndiswrapper 0n 7.10, on a wpa2 protected hidden network.
When I first connect to the network, everything works. nm-applet asks to add the password to the keyring. If I click yes, on subsequent tries it always fails to connect. If I do not allow it to store the password in the keyring, and instead each time type again the network name, password etc., it works.
On 7.04 behaviour was the following: If I tried to connect to the network, specifying wpa2, the dialog box asking for the password appeared three times, each time asking to retype the password. The fourth time the dialog box reappeared, it was somehow switched to WPA. If I selected WPA2 again and retyped the password a fourth time, it eventually worked.
Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. This bug did not have a package associated with it, which is important for ensuring that it gets looked at by the proper developers. You can learn more about finding the right package at [WWW] https:/ /wiki.ubuntu. com/Bugs/ FindRightPackag e. I have classified this bug as a bug in network-manager.
I see no question to ask, so I marked it as confirmed.
