Bug Description

Binary package hint: nautilus

Steps to reproduce (on GNOME 2.18.1 / Nautilus 2.18.1 / Ubuntu Feisty Fawn upgraded from Edgy upgraded from Dapper, Aurora GTK2 icons / Industrial Tango Metacity theme / ATI binary drivers):
1. Open home folder in Nautilus.
2. Middle click and drag a file (in icon view mode) in the same nautilus folder-browser window.
Result:
The exposed areas behind the dragged icon fail to redraw.
(Might actually be highly unrelated but I've previously used recordmydesktop in a terminal window).
P.S.: It seems that this actually applies to left-click-dragging too. Weird.

I've tried to reproduce the error but I couldn't. I'm marking it as invalid until I understand what had actually happened. If anybody else experienced problems of this kind (background redrawing errors) please report. Thanks.

After further testing I've noticed that this happens only when selecting the "Aurora GTK2 controls" theme from the theme manager. So it must be a problem with that theme. Users experiencing this problem should select another control theme,
