Bug Description
On a Dell Latitude D800. Was in previous alpha. Updated.
Turned on Desktop Effects and had to enable the NVIDIA accelerated graphics driver
.When I do this xorg.conf changes from "nv" to nvidia_driver
get a requester says;
Please run "desktop effects" again after restarting the computer, when the new graphics driver is active.
When xorg.conf changes I cannot get through a login upon reboot. The background comes up and I see the orange BG and a white mouse that moves but no panels task bars or anything else.
I can do CTRL-ALT F2 for console, but can't get into full working gui unless I change xorg.conf back and reboot. (CTRL-ALT-Backspace does not help after xorg changes. Must reboot.)
