Launching sidestage apps from launcher prevents launcher from opening

Bug Description
Looking at the current image for MWC, on flo (https:/
Flash the device with the image above
Boot the device
Dismiss the greeter wth 'tap to unlock'
swipe to open the launcher
tap a sidestage app, eg contacts, observe it to open
attempt to open the launcher (by swiping from the left), observe no launcher revealed.
There now appears to be no way to get to the 'circle of friends' icon, or launcher, and use the device further.
This does not reproduce on Manta.
