Bug Description

Binary package hint: audacity

When I start audacity 1.3.3-1build1 on my up-to-date Gutsy system in KDE, it segfaults with this error message:
thomas@SchlesisTP:~$ audacity

(audacity:12408): Gtk-CRITICAL **: gtk_widget_ensure_style: assertion `GTK_IS_WIDGET (widget)' failed
Segmentation fault (core dumped)

I've tried it out on my second Gutsy machine, with the same result. Even in GNOME, it segfaults.

I confirm, also on my gutsy-machine in KDE it segfaults with the same error message.

This is hopefully fixed in latest wxwidgets2.6 (2.6.3.2.1.5ubuntu11).

Confirmed. Latest update in Gutsy to wxwidgets-2.6.3.2.1 fixed the crash.
