democracy-player has a new version and a new name, please upgrade package in Gutsy

It is supposed to fix many of the bugs reported here on launchpad.
So, the priority should be at least equal to that of those bugs.

There are no bugs in Launchpad! Any that you see are a product of a deranged imagination. :P

The Debian democracyplayer maintainer is currently making a miro package. Unless it starts taking too long, I'll merge that once it's done.

So, I guess there are a lot of Debian specific problems with Miro.

Ok, so I've missed UVF:

Miro should be given a UVFe because:
1) It's a fairly prominent package - there will be a fair number of complaints if it doesn't get in
2) It's got no rdepends: it won't break anything.
3) The new package will fix LP: #133496

Upstream source has absolutely no form of changelog. <http://tinyurl.com/273som> is the list of bugs marked as resolved in the 0.9.8 & 0.9.8.1 releases for OS: linux or all.

Indeed. It's had some minor adjustments (thanks to POX_ in #ubuntu-motu) since you've last seen it, so please check the version linked to (still <http://cooperteam.net/miro_0.9.8.1-0ubuntu1.dsc>) if you've previously downloaded it and are looking at a local copy.
