"Dim screen" displayed when not supposed to

Bug Description

Laptop Toshiba Satellite P205. Battery detected OK. Operating on AC power. AC power detected OK.

Power management settings: On AC: "dim display when idle" = false, "set display brightness to" = 100%
What happens: leaving the box inactive for a minute displays a "dim screen" popup (the one with a "sea-mine" and a %meter) that shows 100%. Actually no dimming happens: from 100% to 100% but the popup is annoying. Moreover, why is dimming triggered since it's disabled in the settings?

Thanks!

Hello TBD,

it looks like this problem has been solved in the last couple of days. For me the pop-up does not show anymore and dimming correctly responds to the "dim display when idle" setting.
Can you please make sure you have installed all updates and advise if the problem has been solved for you as well?
Please add the results of uname -a to your reply.

Thanks!
