Bug Description

Every time I boot the computer I don't have any working USB mouse.
So either I need to unplug the USB mouse and replug it or use the command line to make it work.

sudo rmmod uhci_hcd
sudo modprobe uhci-hcd

Mouse hardware:
Microsoft optical

I did not have this issue in 6.10. Have tried other mouse.

Hello there,

I have the same problem here. I am attaching the information you asked the OP for, hope
it is of any use.

I normally have to unplug and plug again the mouse to get it to work but sometimes it is
not possible and unloading and reloading modules won't work, so I have to reboot the
machine hoping for it to work.

Btw, I'm using the latest Gutsy, 2.6.22-9-generic, I'm sorry I don't know what would do best
but I think this is more reasonable than opening another post on the same topic.

Do you still have this problem in Ubuntu 8.04 or Intrepid, the current development release?
