Binary package hint: linux-source-2.6.22

enabled verbose boot in grub menu.lst

title Ubuntu, kernel 2.6.22-9-generic

kernel /vmlinuz-2.6.22-9-generic root=UUID=1ee970e7-7a18-4223-8fce-894d01f4335e ro verbose nosplash vga=791
initrd /initrd.img-2.6.22-9-generic

displays nothing but a black screen with backlight...

works!

but under feisty it worked with vga=791
i used it to prevent the messages to be to big..

also virtual consoles did not work...
