Binary package hint: gthumb

rightclicking and choisind set as wallpaper to me doesnt produce any effect except remove the wallpaper that i had before.

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. It works fine here, may you try to run gthumb from the command line and see if there's any error? thanks.

I am experiencing the same error: setting as wallpaper doesn't work when 'Set Image as Wallpaper' is used from within gthumb. I tried starting the program from the command line, but it doesn't produce any errors. I removed my ~/.gnome2/gthumb to see if it fixes this problem, but it does not. The problem persists.

My system is Linux mozesiii 2.6.20-16-generic #2 SMP Thu Jun 7 20:19:32 UTC 2007 i686 GNU/Linux and gthumb has version number 3:2.10.0-0ubuntu1.

Possibly related to upstream bug 473187.

Can someone test with gthumb 2.10.6?

If I can get gthumb 2.10.6 for my Feisty setup, I can test is. My current gtumb version is 2.10.2, so unfortunately I can't test if a newer version fixes anything. So yes, in reply to Pedro, I am still facing this bug. When gutsy becomes stable I will try again.

In Ubuntu Gutsy (7.10) gThumb 2.10.6 works fine setting the desktop wallpaper. Marking as 'fix released'

I have just upgraded to Gutsy and this functionality is once again working. Great! :)
