Account gets disabled by connecting from other location (MSN)

Bug Description

Binary package hint: pidgin

When using an MSN account and you sign in from another computer while still connected, the MSN account gets 'disabled'. This is undesirable behaviour. Earlier versions of gaim didn't do this (to my knowledge).
In my opinion, the account should just be disconnected, but not disabled, so it will automatically attempt to login again at next startup.

I believe this was always the behaviour. I agree that it's undesirable, though.

Looks like from the Pidgin website change log that they have added a button to un-disable the account from within pidgin. Either way this doesn't appear to be Pidgin issue per se and definitely not an Ubuntu one. It seems to me it would be an issue with MSN.

Changed in pidgin:
