Scribes 0.3.2.9 has just been published in gutsy, do you still have this issue ?

It doesn't appear to happen anymore, no. I guess the problem is fixed then.

This wasn't fixed with the new upstream release... reopening.

Do you have the package python2.5-dev, or python-dev installed? Does this happen without it? And with it?

I have both of those packages installed but even after removing those packages, I no longer receive errors with the new version of Scribes.

Is there anything else I can do to help debug this package?
