Bug Description

Binary package hint: rhythmbox

Ever since I've upgraded to Gutsy Gibbon (which was at the release of tribe 2) sound has been distorted when I play music. Until recently I thought it was just the sound drivers but when I use a different program to play mp3 and ogg files the sound is fine. Therefore, it must be a problem with Rhythmbox.

Thank you for your bug. Does it happen if you use the crossfading option?

I enabled crossfading and restarted Rhythmbox and now it plays wonderful without distortion. Never would have thought it would be that easy. :)
