Bug Description

Binary package hint: f-spot

I have only opened an animated gif, after saved it on desktop from here:

http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/7/71/Cad-fm01s.gif

This is a file of an animated Gif (in F-Spot is visualized only the first frame of this animation).
On closure F-Spot "freezed". I've "killed it" with xkill and after some time there is a report of crash.

Hi Pedro,
I've installed backtrace function. But when i start gdb, this is the
result message:

zeirus@Cel1500:~$ gdb <f-spot> 2>&1 | tee gdb-<f-spot>.txt
bash: syntax error near unexpected token `2'

Where I wrong? I've followed the instruction here:

https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Backtrace

Thanks in advance for reply.
