Bug Description

Hi, gutsy currently has version 7.10 of this package. 7.12 was released just after the last sync with debian and just missed the boat. Would it be possible to update gutsy to the newer version?

The package is currently in unstable but should transition to testing in a day or two.

It has many significant improvements over the old 7.10.

Trying to follow the instructions from

Actually, I think the testing transition should happen in about 9 days depending on its relationship to the openexr long double transition. In case it makes any difference, the nip2 package has been updated for the menu transition - it puts its menu files in Applications/Graphics instead of Apps/Graphics. I don't know how Ubuntu is positioned relative to the debian menu transition.

The current Ubuntu package has a delta to recommend firefox instead of mozilla-firefox. Should this be kept? If so, this needs to be a merge, not a sync. Thanks.

Yes, I guess you're right Barry, the delta should stay. Please tag as merge instead.

Trying but this can't be merged until newer vips is merged.
