Bug Description

A picture of 26,065 × 30,000 pixels can be opened but crashes after a couple of zoom-ins.

Please use the bug report helper that comes up when Gwenview crashes to file bug reports. If none comes up please file the report manually at http://bugs.kde.org and try to attach a backtrace of the crash; [1] should help with manually creating a backtrace in case the crash helper doesn't start.
