Bug Description
Binary package hint: desktop-effects
Gutsy amd64 9 August 2007:
ii compiz 1:0.5.2-0ubuntu1 OpenGL window and compositing manager
ii desktop-effects 0.7.1-0ubuntu4 preferences applet for configuring desktop effects
When I open the Desktop Effects settings (via either Preferences -> Appearence -> Desktop Effects or Preferences -> Desktop Effects), I get this error "nvidia hardware not available".
This is on a laptop with Intel graphics, and compiz works, so I shouldn't get this error.
