Bug Description

Binary package hint: wacom-tools

Please add the model number for the Lenovo X60 and X61 tablets to /etc/init.d/xserver-xorg-input-wacom

The line where the model is matched should look like:

WACf008*|WACf006*|WACf005*|WACf004*)

If this is done once https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux-source-2.6.22/+bug/131063 is pushed, the tablets will work out of the box under Gutsy.

Has been triaged, can the same be done for this one?

This task seems redundant as there is already a separate bug for the kernel task.

Brian, correct. The kernel patch should be in the next kernel push according to Amit.

Hi Serge, can you test if the fix has been applied/works? Thanks.

Hi Henrik,

Yes works fine on the kernel side of things, even after a suspend/resume cycle.

All that is missing is changing /etc/init.d/xserver-xorg-input-wacom in wacom-tools.

Hey there, has this been pushed out already? My x60t's touchscreen doesn't work out of the box.
I'd be in for a beta-test, any clues as to how to get beta packages?

Yes this has been pushed out. Does the stylus not control the mouse pointer?

Okay, I found the problem:

in /etc/X11/xorg.conf, the three lines adding the tablet were commented out (the one's marked below with "<----") - after removing the leading '#' and restarting X the stylus works. - Yay!!!!
