Seems to have something to do with mounted nfs-shares:

"You have NFS mount points currently mounted, and this version of mount
 requires that nfs-common be upgraded before NFS mounts will work."

Is nfs-common an old version which mount does not support?

I got around this by upgrading all packages except mount, then going back to upgrade mount as well. Worked like a charm.

Thanks for the hint, the automated updater woudn't upgrade mount, now i tried it via commandline and it worked! Strange though..

Quite welcome. Glad it helped! Hopefully there was some condition where one package needed to be updated before mount, and the depends within the mount package simply weren't updated to reflect that. I'm not sure. Either way, hopefully this report helps solve the problem for others.
