Bug Description

When browsing upnp content, vlc will freeze and start to consume 100% of a CPU core. If you run from the terminal, the console will fill up with...

total jobs = 100, too many jobstotal jobs = 100, too many jobstotal jobs = 100, too many jobstotal jobs = 100, too many jobstotal jobs = 100, too many jobstotal jobs = 100, too many jobstotal jobs = 100, too many jobstotal jobs = 100, too many jobstotal jobs = 100, too many jobstotal jobs = 100, too many jobstotal jobs = 100.....

This happened on a 32 bit upgraded laptop (11.10 -> 12.04 -> 14.04) and a newly installed 64 bit laptop (14.04).

The upnpn server in question is Mediatomb, running on Ubuntu 14.04 server, on top of Xen 4.4.

Thanks for reading.

I experience the same behaviour when playing local files, files from a CIFS mount or a SFTP mount. I do run a TwonkyMedia server on my network.
