Can you reproduce with an up-to-date gutsy install?

Funny you should ask. I just experienced it again, but the system was in the middle of an upgrade and this time there was no crash report. It seems more likely for this compiz plugin to fail if the sytem is already under some form of load, the CPU was maxed out, at the time. The update system was in the middle of processing/preparing the installs. But I think it would be safe to assume if the system is peaked while trying to show/hide windows that compiz will more than likely crash.

crash came after reloading X-Server/Gnome (ctrl+ALT+BCKSP) and re-logging in. Initial restart of X was done due to changing graphics driver.
