Bug Description

Binary package hint: gdm

Upon first login under gdm, all is well,
Upon switching to a new User, the mouse cursor is no longer visible.
Brightening of icons occurs when the invisible cursor is drawn across them, and mouse click does then initiate action.
This problem was first noticed after the recent round of updates.
Not sure that the gdm package is itself responsible.
Restarting gdm, /etc/init.d/gdm restart, does not cure the problem
A reboot is necessary to regain the visible cursor.

Please try with 7.10 final or Hardy alpha3, and attach your /etc/X11/xorg.conf and /etc/X11/Xorg.0.log.
