[Gutsy Tribe 4] Multiple Broadcom Errors on Dell Inspiron E1505 Notebook

Bug Description

Gutsy Herd 4 i386 burnt ISO to CD
Placed CD in Dell Inspiron E1505 Notebook
Boot to CD, Errors out and fails to load Gnome Desktop because xorg fails.
Asks if I would like to see a detailed report.
I exit, and get multiple Broadcom errors repeated over and over on the screen with a short delay between them.
I had the same problem with Feisty on the same notebook.

I would really like to install Ubuntu on this notebook and since I couldn't on the last release of Ubuntu, I was hoping that I could on this version. If you need my help, please respond. I will enter any commands that you need if I am able to.

Is it a problem with the drivers for Broadcom 440x 10/100 Integrated Controller?

This repeats even when not in gdm, but at command line when Ethernet cable is not plugged in.

This is supposed to happen as the bcm43xx series is not supported in the kernel. Is xorg failing to boot? If so, this is not the reason -- your bug report should be modified to reflect this.

I'm trying to install gusty AMD64 on an HP laptop. I got the x86 working without this error, but i get this error with the 64 bit version, and it wont take me to GDM or gnome. any ideas?
