Bug Description

Binary package hint: compiz

With Compiz, making dragged icons semitransparent is trivially easy. It also helps the user keep track of where exactly he/she is dragging the files, since the visual feedback the system provides (folders looking like they are "open", the trash being highlighted) is not obscured by the dragged item itself.

Therefore, I think DnD types should have a 75% opacity by default.

I don't think this would be a good idea.

Changed in compiz:
importance: Undecided → Wishlist
status: New → Won't Fix
