Binary package hint: gnome-terminal

says run dpkg --configure -a but cant run it. cant get into su mode with correct password?

dpkg --configure -a

You must do

$ sudo dpkg --configure -a

Note: Not su command, but sudo command or gksudo command

no still not working cant install any progs now with add and remove or with synaptic package manager says E:The package googleearth needs to be reinstalled but i cant find an archive for it.
E:internal error opening cache(1)please report.
