Firstly, thanks for giving it a go, I really need as much feedback as I can get.

The error that it generates is caused by an exception that I have thrown but not caught. Can you please attach ~/.me-tv/me-tv.log which might give me a few more clues. Out of interest, is it a full card or budget. In the mean time, I'll see if I can spot it from the code.

Hope that you have the time to help me bring DVB to GNOME.

Actually, I think that's the same card as my friend Klaus is using in Germany. If so, then it's a budget card, which is a good thing.

Got It! The system tries to log to ~/.me-tv/me-tv.log but the lines of code that create the ~/.me-tv directory haven't been called. I don't normally see this because I already have a ~/.me-tv. When I removed the ~/.me-tv directory I got the same message. I'll fix it now and upload 0.2-4. I'm quite sure that this is your problem.

Thanks for your feedback.

Fixed and uploaded to 0.2-4. You'll also need a channels.conf, but Me TV will tell you that first time you run it.
