Bug Description

Binary package hint: gcc-4.2

stddef.h and a few other files are missing in the package gcc-4.2.
I tried to download with aptitude and from the website.
My file count is 41, launchpad says 49.

I am having the same problem with gcc-4.3 now that I updated to Ubuntu 8.10. Does it need the same fixing?
