Bug Description

Binary package hint: vino

the vino-preferences application limits the passwords to 8 (eight) characters. This could be considered a security problem or at minimum very bad practice. What needs to be done to extend the password length from an 8 character maximum?

I agree that this needs to be improved. I would also like to see a username required, and built-in encryption.
