Bug Description

Binary package hint: restricted-manager

I think this has something to do with bcm43xx-fwcutter.

cutter tries to download firmware from a site that does not
exist and it fails because the site no longer exists.

This url should be used (it is what the bcm devs on berlios use)
http://downloads.openwrt.org/sources/wl_apsta-3.130.20.0.o

Thanks for this bug report.

Did you also try to enable any restricted drivers from restricted-manager? Can you upload to latest version and see if bug is fixed?

Yes: I was trying to enable the fglrx driver at the time when it happened. But this
doesn't affect things I guess. I have no idea why the bcm43xx driver tried to
download non-existent drivers because I hadn't clicked on them or gone near
them at all. Odd. Even if the URL is broken to download firmware restricted-manager
shouldn't crash though.

I (or an upgrade) borked X.org and I wiped my machine. When I re-install, I'll check
the latest restricted-manager.
