Bug Description

Hi

I'm using gutsy up to date. x86. I have network manager with static ip address, but gnome-main-menu displays incorrect information, saying there's no network. This is probably because of ubuntu's static ip address features added to network manager

thanks

Hi

I've recently tried a daily live cd and I wasn't able to set a static (non-dhcp) ip address with new n-m. I'll try again this weekend with an updated live cd and see if this is still an issue.

thanks

Ok, I've tried again and I could figure out how to make n-m work. The issue is only half solved. The gnome-main-menu shows theres a cable connection correctly, but when I click on that icon, a window pops-up with wrong information. See screenshot.

This is what n-m applet shows (which is the correct information)

What other information is needed here? It's still an issue in intrepid.
