Started it and played a Shoutcast Stream, HBR1.com I think... after playing for about 20 minutes it suddenly crashed without interaction.

It happened only once, and without any obvious reason or interaction. I keep this Gutsy machine updated daily, and it hasn't happened since.

Rhythmbox updated earlier today in the Karmic Alpha. Crashed without warning about after roughly 1 hour of use.

Rhythmbox v0.12.2-0ubuntu1 (karmic)

Checking in Synaptic shows a "suggested for install" file: python-coherence

I will install this file and see if this clears up the problem.
