Bug Description

A while back I set the following line in /home/phablet/.profile on my device:-

export PERFORMANCE_OVERLAY=1

I could then tap 4 times to get the overlay to check for performance issues.

This no longer works - possibly since the split greeter stuff landed.

Maybe .profile isn't parsed into the upstart env any more? Can you check if `upstart list-env | grep PERF` as phablet shows it set?
