Bug Description

Binary package hint: sabayon

It is not possible to change a gconf setting from default to mandatory or the other way, as neither the package editor provides this feature nor does the changes window list the setting upon launch of the session.

Furthermore does it seems that the "enforce mandatory setting" does not work in the way I understand it should work (it should enforce or lift the restrictions - so the sessions get's into a state where the admin gets access to restricted items)

Also for some reason the "alacarte" settings, which say which menu items are visible or not does not work at all - though I dunno if this is a gconf thing.

In the "lock" row I have bronze and silver shields - they change upon click, but I found no documentation what which mean.

regards
Philipp

Is this symptom still reproducible in 8.10 beta or later?
