Binary package hint: gnome-panel

i installed wine via terminal. it doesn't show up under accessories, and i don't know why. i uninstalled and reinstalled but still it doesn't show up under my accessories. this is probably a total newb question, but i have no clue what to do and i can;t find any help on the internet.

the menu entry is shipped with the application, not gnome-panel, reassigning

Wine is supposed to have it's own menu under applications. Do you still have this problem?

Are you by chance looking for a "click here to run Wine" sort of thing? Wine isn't something you run on its own - you run Windows applications with it.
