Duplicate Cdrom entries in Software Sources

Bug Description

After installing 7.04 Feisty Fawn from the DVD using the text-mode installer, there are two identical CD-ROM entries in Software Sources.

To reproduce:

1. Install Ubuntu 7.04 from the live/installation DVD using the text-mode installer.

2. Log in to the administrative account.

3. Open System -> Software Sources.

4. In the "Installable from CD-ROM/DVD" list there are two identical entries like this:

  Cdrom with Ubuntu 7.04 'Feisty Fawn'
  Officially supported
  Restricted copyright

Unfortunately I cannot install Jaunty to test that. I am not a tester and I use only LTS releases.

I installed Ubuntu 9.04 Alpha 5 in a virtual machine, and it does not detect the disk as a valid source of packages at all.

So I guess the issue doesn't occur anymore, another bug is in it's place now. Probably for the worse too.

I've tried recreating this bug with Oneiric and was unable to, given the information you've provided. Please either a) upgrade and test or b) increase the verbosity of the steps to recreate it so we can try again.
