Bug Description

Binary package hint: linux-ubuntu-modules-2.6.22-9-generic

Hi,

After returning from hibernation or suspend2ram, the ipw3945 module ceases to operate.
The problem is as follows:
1. After the machine resumes, I can not see the "eth1" device (which is usually associated with the wireless adapter).
2. Trying to run "modprobe ipw3945", stops the ipw3945d daemon, but when it executes the rmmod command, the process just gets "stuck" on waiting for I/O ("D" state on ps).

Some general details:
I am using Lenovo R60.
The OS is 64bit.

Exact kernel version is:
[tsnoam@meydele ~] $ uname -a
Linux meydele 2.6.22-9-generic #1 SMP Fri Aug 3 00:20:35 GMT 2007 x86_64 GNU/Linux
[tsnoam@meydele ~] $ dpkg-query -W -f '${Package}-${Version}\n' 'linux-image-2.6.22-9*'
linux-image-2.6.22-9-generic-2.6.22-9.25

Best regards,
Noam Meltzer
