Ctrl operations do not work

Bug Description

Binary package hint: banshee

Common operations like CTRL + Insert or CTRL + Delete don't work in banshee. Since it is the only program that doesn't support this it is very irritading.

Sorry, my mistake. Actually all controls work fine.
The problem is more - they tend to skip working for no particular reason. It happens every few days where I cannot CTRL + C anymore - but I cannot give a reproducable example.
