"Screens and Graphics" crashes when I click on "Test"

Bug Description

When I click on "Test" in "Screen and Graphics", I got my screen mixed up : bottom is at the top, top is at the bottom, vertical lines appears...
I have only one screen, screen 2 is desactivated
Model : Plug'n'Play
Resolution : 1400x1050 at 62Hz
Driver : ati radeon (fglrx)

We'd be grateful if you would then provide a more complete description of the problem.

At a minimum, we need:
1. the specific steps or actions you took that caused you to encounter the problem,
2. the behavior you expected, and
3. the behavior you actually encountered (in as much detail as possible).
