Bug Description

When trying to suspend to RAM the screen goes blank, but the computer does not, keeps running.
It needs to be power-cycled to get control back and of course a complete new boot takes place.

This happened with a Plain Vanilla Kubuntu 7.04 for i386 (as installed by the desktop CD) and kept happening also a full update (done on 2007-08-23 @ 22:00).
The hardware is a Mac Mini Core Solo, 512 MB or RAM.
I am booting from rEFIt, no Boot Camp and no BIOS compatibility mode set.
Everything else works like a charm (wireless, sound, 3D, bluetooth), only suspend is broken (and hibernate).

I attach the list of files required by https://wiki.ubuntu.com/DebuggingACPI
Moreover I add that I have installed the latest Firmware from Apple to date (version 1.1).
