Update Manager unable to install 2 new updates.

Bug Description

When i try instil the 2 new updates, this message appears: E: dpkg was interrupted, you must manually run 'dpkg --configure -a' to correct the problem.
E: _cache->open() failed, please report.

and when i try run dpkg --configure -a it says i need superuser privileges
