Rick: do you think somebody of the server team could review the package?

I just set up a PPA for ampache. You can view it here:

Please close this bug. Ampache has been uploaded to the debian archives. I will file a sync request. Thank you for all your help.

You should probably turn this bug into a sync request, rather than
filing a new bug.

Could you please point me to a resource that explains how to do that?
With all the Freezes that are in effect I am kind confused on how to do it.

The sync process is described here:
https://wiki.ubuntu.com/SyncRequestProcess.

However given that we're passed NewPackagesFreezeUniverse, there isn't a
lot of chance that your request will be accepted before Gutsy is
released.

I agree
After more research on my part, it is my understanding that since
ampache is already in the debian archives it will automatically be syncd
at the start of the next release cycle (hardy)? If this is the case,
IMHO it would be better to just wait until the start of the next release
cycle, as MOTU time could be better utilized fixing bugs. Beside I have
it up on my PPA so Ubuntu user's do have access to it. I can wait.

You're correct. ampache will be synced from debian at the beginning of the next release cycle.
