Bug Description
.AVI files playing incorrectly specifically XviD, the problem is fixed however when Desktop Effects are _disabled_, this may be hardware specific, so i will post my graphics engine:

Bug #122979 has been fixed, so this bug is probably a duplicate of bug #111257.
boontoo, do you see the BadAlloc terminal output in totem? does it happen only with xv? Please read bug #111257 for more info.
